Leaving Venus
BIO Leaving Venus is taking off….
With strong grooves, dynamics, and catchy song writing these guys have everything that a music fan needs. Fusing blues, funk, and rock, the power-trio has created a sound all their own.
There’ is something about a strong trio that cannot be captured in a large band, like a finely tuned sports car with no extra baggage. It’s that raw sound, vulnerability, and connection that Leaving Venus fans have come to love.
The band has rediscovered itself by going back to the sound that made them love music in the first place. Groups such as Cream, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The John Mayer Trio, Prince, The Black Keys and Steve Vai have all influenced the band.
Their latest EP, “30 Thousand Feet”, showcases the band’s sound with 5 rock songs destined to please music lovers nationwide. Leaving Venus is currently performing shows in the Southeast. Check the band’s tour schedule for a show near you.
